I've received reported from Jon Akers at the UF HPC Center that torque is working fine for him.  Some quick testing can be done by following the directions posted on my devspace at http://dev.gentoo.org/~jsbronder/torque_test.txt.

I'll be asking Jon to add himself to this bug as I have no access to mips hardware.

I have done tests with torque against the following machines using the test procedure that Justin has provided:

Lemote Fulong (Loongson 2E Chipset)
Cobalt Raq2

These tests against both of these machines went flawlessly.
