When emerging the ebuild dev-perl/gimp-perl-2.2_pre1, I was told of multi-ownership of a plugin. Running portageq, I get: tom@linuxdev ~ $ portageq owners / /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/redeye dev-perl/gimp-perl-2.2_pre1 /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/redeye media-gfx/gimp-2.4.2 /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/redeye Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge gimp 2. emerge gimp-perl Actual Results: * Messages for package dev-perl/gimp-perl-2.2_pre1: * This package will overwrite one or more files that may belong to other * packages (see list below). Add "collision-protect" to FEATURES in * make.conf if you would like the merge to abort in cases like this. You * can use a command such as `portageq owners / <filename>` to identify * the installed package that owns a file. Please do NOT file a bug report at * http://bugs.gentoo.org unless you report exactly which two packages * install the same file(s). Once again, please do NOT file a bug report * unless you have completely understood the above message. * * Detected file collision(s): * * /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/redeye * GNU info directory index is up-to-date. I've removed redeye from the gimp-perl package, seems it's added to main gimp and gimp-perl didn't get an update since then.
