If you use qt-4.3* could you please make sure that you
have USE="qt3support". If you have qt-4.4, please try
emerging x11-libs/qt-qt3support.

Thanks,
Markus

Thank you! This solved the issue.

If I could add a suggestion: perhaps the qtiplot ebuild could print this information when one tries to emerge it. This way people would know that it requires qt with qt3support enabled (or, if this is possible, add this flag to the dependencies of the package). Otherwise sooner or later more people will have the same problem and open new bugs regarding it.

Best,

Giovani

Hi Giovani,

Thank you very much for testing and I am glad qt3support did the trick
for you.
I've added the proper dependencies and a check for qt3support
to the qtiplot-0.9.6.2.ebuild which is the latest version available
in portage.

Best,
Markus
