Description Vytautas Jakutis 2008-08-05 11:53:08 UTC
Failure to compile.

This ebuild is the latest version with x86 keyword. Currently I have to add ~x86 keyword to emerge lfhex (here goes v0.4).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge lfhex

Actual Results:

Expected Results:
No failure to compile. I think lfhex-0.4-r1 should be keyworded as stable.

Looks like a GCC 4.3 issue (tracker bug #198121).
Comment 2 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-08-05 16:32:27 UTC
I am not sure what else can be done. If an ~arch version fixes the issue, then not mixing branches makes sure you won't see this problem, i.e. having both gcc-4.3 and this package in package.keywords...
Comment 3 Vytautas Jakutis 2008-08-05 17:49:13 UTC
yes.. ok, i switched to 4.1.2 via gcc-config and it compiled. on a side note, i added ~x86 keyword on gcc, because i needed openmp
