Command "emerge hsfmodem" results in the following messages: These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! [ebuild N ] net-dialup/hsfmodem [7.68.00.09] USE="doc" 1,434 kB Total: 1 package (1 new), Size of downloads: 1,434 kB >>> Verifying ebuild manifests !!! A file listed in the Manifest could not be found: /usr/portage/net-dialup/hsfmodem/hsfmodem-7.68.00.12.ebuild The Portage tree is sync'd to 20080803 level, but I had this on the previous level. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.emerge --sync 2.emerge hsfmodem 3. Actual Results: As above. Expected Results: Install the modem driver. The portage snapshot should either include the EBuild or, possably, ignore the error in the manifest - It has enough to do the emerge.
Error also occurs if you explicitly try to emerge the older hsfmodem version. emerge =net-dialup/hsfmodem-7.68.00.09

IE: The bug is reported on 7.68.00.09 - This is NOT the prior release as 7.68.00.12 is NOT supplied !

Could someone please restore this ebuild in the tree so this bug can be closed?
