Description William Brack 2003-06-24 00:25:08 UTC
I am one of the gnome/libsxlt project maintainers. Several months ago there
was a problem with parallel makes, which I fixed. All the current Gentoo
ebuilds are using "make" instead of "emake". There is a comment by DRobbins
within the ebuilds that "lots of testing is required" before allowing parallel
makes; I believe that this criteria has been met several times over, and
therefore request that the restriction be lifted as soon as possible.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Not applicable

If you encounter any problems with compilations of libxslt (or libxml2) please
don't hesitate to contact me directly in order to resolve them.

the problem was drobbins never referred to a specific bugreport or anything, so it's hard for us to track.

I bumped .30 to r1 and made it use emake. We'll see how it goes.

Thanks for your update on this.
