Description Claes Mogren 2008-07-26 06:10:43 UTC
A new version of Gnome MUD is out, after about two years. From http://live.gnome.org/GnomeMud

We have just released Gnome-Mud 0.11! Some of the new features in this build include

    * Proper telnet support including telnet options: TTYPE, NAWS, ECHO, CHARSET, and EOR
    * Full MSP support (Mud Sound Protocol)
    * ZMP support (core package only at the moment, are there other packages? Let us know!)
    * Separate input history for all connections.
    * New input widget that dynamically resizes based on amount of text entered.
    * SOCKS proxy support (version 4 and 5)
    * Full encoding support including the ability to negotiate text encoding (if the server supports the CHARSET telnet option)
    * Triggers and aliases with perl compatible regular expression matching.
    * Support for Profiles.
    * No dependencies on deprecated libraries! (yay!)
    * Nice new icon

There are a few regressions from 0.10.7. Keybindings, python plugin support, and variables are sadly not included in this release but will introduced by the next major release.

I've removed the python use-flag and added the gstreamer instead. Updated the homepage and some dependencies that had changed.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Only tried on ~amd64 so far and seems to work fine so far. Have not tried any plugins.

Ah, sorry. Thanks for being so quick. :)
(I do think the homepage has changed to live.gnome though.)
