What fixing thise?
Builds fine here. Probably an issue with your Qt 3 installation. Does rebuilding Qt 3 help?
I rebild qt 3 USE='examples' emerge -av =qt-3.3.8-r4 This not fixing error =(
Then attach /var/tmp/portage/dev-libs/dbus-qt3-old-0.70/temp/build.log please.
fixing if use export QTDIR="/usr/qt/3"
don't mark the bug as fixed unless the fix is made to the tree
(In reply to comment #6) > fixing if use > export QTDIR="/usr/qt/3" > The ebuild inherits qt3.eclass, which does export QTDIR. Are you sure not to use a broken overlay maybe?
Well, the eclass only sets QTDIR if the environment doesn't already have QTDIR set. It's possible that users set their own QTDIR in their environment when developing QT apps (I know I do at the office..) A function that always provides the correct QTDIR value might be worth while for the eclass so that the ebuild could have... econf --enable-qt3 --with-qt3-moc=$(qtdir)/bin/moc
(In reply to comment #9) > A function that always provides the correct QTDIR value [... I don't know who committed the code, but setting the QTDIR to a different path, can be nice for quick tests or some installation directly from kde.org svn w/o any ebuild. Bluntly said, setting QTDIR to a directory that isn't a valid Qt 3 installation is a PEBKAC issue. If this should be the case here, the bug is invalid. Nikita, what's up with your environment?
End result this is most likely an environment issue. Due to this bug being stale for 5 months I am auto-closing it as INVALID per the final comments on this bug. If you still have the issue, please attach the requested info and reopen the bug. Thanks.
