As per here, linux.gamers.net.nz (rsync1.nz.gentoo.org) was recently promoted to an official rsync server: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=231262 However, after changing the source to sync to rsync1, the server has not been syncing correctly. Possibly the server hasn't been given access to this master sync server yet? I've changed back the source to rsync.us in the meantime.
Kat, What's the error? 60.234.76.202 is on the ACL for rsync1.us, please provide more details on what error you're getting. Also, are you syncing from a different IP other than this?
Error as below. My fault - I forgot the machine has several IPs. linux.gamers.net.nz resolves to .202 which is what people use to connect to the machine, but the box itself actually connects to the outside world using .170 Could you please add 60.234.76.170 to the ACL? Started update at Thu Jul 24 15:13:40 NZST 2008 @ERROR: access denied to gentoo-portage from unknown (60.234.76.170) rsync error: error starting client-server protocol (code 5) at main.c(1495) [rec eiver=3.0.2] End: Thu Jul 24 15:13:41 NZST 2008

Done. Give it about 30-90 mins and then check. Let me know if all is good and I'll close this bug.
All good now: server is now syncing successfully to rsync1.us and it is back in sync. Cheers.
Alrighty, closing.
