Please post your `emerge --info' too. Perhaps [1] could help you obtain a more meaningful backtrace.

Here's emerge --info from two different machines. Both are affected by the same issue.
I currently don't have access to other gentoo machines but in the past i've tried at least 6 different gentoo installations with same result. Also two previously tested debian installs didnt have this problem.

I did the gdb stacktrace with instructions from the backtraces document. 
Maybe it would be meaningful if i recompile everything with "nostrip" feature enabled?
