# vserver xxx build --context 1000 --hostname xxx --interface eth0:xxx --initstyle gentoo -m template -- -d gentoo -t /vservers/gentoo-template.tar.bz2 >>> Installing special init-style magic ... chroot-sh: mkdir("2/dev/null"): No such file or directory chroot-sh: mkdir("2/dev/null"): No such file or directory shouldn't it be "/dev/null"?
The typo comes from the patch util-vserver-0.30.215-openrc.patch. I'm attaching a correct version of the patch. In the meantime, the typo actually doesn't cause any abnormal function, just some extra output which can be ignored. But if you want, you can edit the file /usr/lib/util-vserver/distributions/gentoo/initpost by hand. At lines 68 and 69, change the text "2/dev/null" to "2>/dev/null".
Created attachment 165028 [details, diff] corrected openrc patch This file should replace the existing openrc patch; it does not patch the openrc patch to correct it.
fixed in cvs, thanks
