The gentoo-sources-2.25-gentoo-r6 has iscsi modules available to it, yet open-iscsi try to build kernels against the sources. Can we get either a separate ebuild for the userland utils or a USE flag that lets you disable building the kernel modules. The userland utils are the only one needed.

echo sys-block/open-iscsi >> /etc/portage/portage.keywords
emerge -av open-iscsi

John, could you check, if the ebuild from that other bug is ok for you?

Yeah, close it for now. The machine I was having issues with and the iscsi machine are being repurposed and unavailable to me.

Ebuilds from #196096 works fine. i think you could close this bug.

USE="modules" available for some time now, closing this one.
