Do you have app-xemacs/xemacs-base installed? Are comint.el and comint.elc present in /usr/lib/xemacs/xemacs-packages/lisp/xemacs-base?
xemacs-base-2.10 was installed last time at the end of march. But there no comint.el* files in /usr/lib/xemacs/xemacs-packages/lisp/xemacs-base. After a fresh installation of xemacs-base I found the the /usr/lib/xemacs/xemacs-packages/lisp/xemacs-base/comint.el* files and could also install gnuplot. I still checked some other computers and I missed the /usr/lib/xemacs/xemacs-packages/lisp/xemacs-base/comint.el* there too.
