the ebuild checks if /sbin/lilo fails, if not there is no reason to let the boot partition still be mounted Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
awwww isnt that cute.
Mhh, just having a look at my open bug reports. I suppose this "bug" is at least as cute as you Donny, heh!? ;) If you don't think so, please mark it wontfix and forget it.
Carlo, I dunno, I just dont really feel like working on it. Feel free to attach your idea of what the patch should be, if you want. I didnt close it wontfix as I see some merit to what you're saying.
-r4 will run dolilo in the ebuild, the /boot partition will be properly restored to it's previous state (be it unmounted or mounted r/o). Will be fixed once -r4 hits the tree.
The lilo-22.5.9 ebuild runs the dolilo wrapper, which restores the original state of /boot after running lilo. Be it unmounted, mounted r/o or mounted r/w. This ebuild is in CVS and should appear in the tree soon.
