Description Denis Sacchet 2003-06-21 13:13:40 UTC
When I try to execute one of those commands
(/usr/lib/usr/lib/libgphoto2/print-usb-usermap and gphoto2 --list-ports), they
try to get the lib in the directory
'/var/tmp/portage/libgphoto2-2.1.1-r2/image//usr/lib/gphoto2/2.1.1' for
print-usb-usermap or
'/var/tmp/portage/libgphoto2-2.1.1-r2/image//usr/lib/gphoto2_port/0.5.1', but
thoses directories doesn't exist because I delete all files in the directory
'/var/tmp'. Recreate the two directory and copy files from
/usr/lib/gphoto2/2.1.1 resolv the problem.

My versions of ebuild are :

[ebuild R ] media-libs/libgphoto2-2.1.1-r2
[ebuild R ] media-gfx/gphoto2-2.1.1-r1

Here are the output of the two commands with the --debug flag activated :

Just tested here with a fresh ebuild of media-libs/libgphoto2-2.1.1-r2 , it works just fine.
Comment 3 Alastair Tse (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-06-25 15:25:58 UTC
Denis,

Can you try merging it again? It should not be looking in that directory, my version doesn't do that.

if it still doesn't work, can you please attach the full build log by doing:

emerge libgphoto2 2>&1 | tee /tmp/build.log

Comment 4 Denis Sacchet 2003-06-26 02:11:22 UTC
Ok, i've emerge -C libgphoto2 gphoto2 and gtkam and now it works. It's very strange, because I had had the same behaviour on two computers ... But it is not the most important :)

Thx a lot guys

Cordially
