there is a patch existing http://fixunix.com/kernel/510082-re-patch-v4l-link-tuner-before-saa7134.html for this problem patch works for me. Without it on my Flyvideo card tuner type = 5 autodetected everytime and so doesn't work.
Thanks, will watch for that patch going upstream, it hasn't been accepted yet.

Mike, don't you read the first message in the thread? The patch provided over the link is exactly the same that was accepted to upstream. And i already mentioned that it works for me. Moreover, it is in 2.6.26.3 since 20 August 2008 and there is still no ebuild for it in portage. It's sad that Gentoo not the same as it was two or three year ago :(
