Gmencoder is a gnome-2 front-end to mplayer/mencoder,the gmencoder's homepage is: http://gmencoder.sourceforge.net/ I see that in the gentoo's portage gmencoder isn't present so I write an ebuild for this software. attach the ebuild in text/plain format. new ebuilds should be marked as enhancement. we've had a submission before in bug 20110, but this seems to be a newer version.

For ask him everithing about gmencoder, because it could help us. And if he want, he can do de ebuild for each version as himself do the debian binary.

Created attachment 16742 [details] cleaner gmencoder ebuild "S" variable points by default to "${WORKDIR}/${P}", there's no need include it. Added IUSE variable. Changed SRC_URI to use mirror://sourceforge... Added "doman", I *really* hate ebuilds without manpage !
Note this hasn't made a release in about 1.5 years, but cvs does have some more recent changes(~5 months)
Hi, Sorry about the age of this bug. I have contacted the author of gmencoder to see what his statement is on the development activity of gmencoder. If he shows that development is active, I will add the ebuild. If not, due to ensuring the ability to get bug reporting done with the most efficiency, I would close this as WONTFIX. I hope the first will be true, and that the ebuild will get added. Thank you for your time and using Gentoo!
Closing as WONTFIX as apparently the author doesn't exist (I just recived a "Mail Returned to Sender" response with "customer doesn't exist"). If someone can contact this person, please let me know via email, or re-open this bug.
