I have tested this on x86 and it works fine here.

I kinda forgot to mention: This package should go into net-mail, IMHO.
I have just released the 2.4 version of mapSoN. The ebuild didn't change; renaming the file is all there is to it. (It may take a moment for the release archive to show up on the sourceforge mirrors.)
Uh, is there any chance, this ebuild will make it into the distribution any time soon? It's been waiting here for almost 2 months now ...
Hello? HELLO? Does anybody care about this ebuild or not?
Since nothing is happening with this package anyway, I'll close the bug report.
just because you haven't recieved a response, doesn't mean this is invalid. it's just means we're so busy we haven't had a sufficently detailed examination of it yet to put it in the tree. as an example of something that get it approved sooner, look at setting it up for other MTA's if this is possible.
I certainly don't expect anybody to respond immediately, when I file a bug report or submit a new ebuild. Certainly not. But honestly, 10 MONTHS without any kind of reaction seems a bit long. The software is at version 3.x in the meanwhile, so this ebuild is obsolete anyway.
once the new versions are released, attach the new ebuild and update the summary line.
The chances of me submitting an ebuild for the new version are very, very slim. I would recommend closing this bug, since it really serves no purpose, IMHO. Then whoever does an ebuild for mapSoN 3.x can just create a new entry. May he have better luck than I did.

I will have a look at this one during the weekend. It emerges just fine, but a postinstallation einfo message to users about mapson usage would be handy. Just put few einfo lines in pkg_postinst(), directing user to nearest mapson documentation. I had to look for usage docs on mapson's homepage, that would unnecessarily waste regular user's time.
In CVS now. Thanks for the ebuild and for the patience.
