Compared to the 2006.1 liveCD at my ThinkPad T41 the new LiveCD always runs at high speed. It might not be an error but it is nagging ... :-(

It's a feature. It reduces access times to files on the CD. If you really don't like it, you can run '/etc/init.d/spind stop'.
