The LiveCD for the amd64 Gentoo 2008.0 will not boot. I've have the beta copy which booted just fine. But after redownloading the full release 3 times( just to make sure it wasn't corrupted ) and re-burning 3 times on each download( had to verify that wasn't the issue as well) I came to the conclusion that there was a problem. It fails to load anything after the "Boot:" prompt at the beginning. Gives and error stating was unable to find the /dev/cdrom , which didn't make much sense to me becuase the beta livecd was able to find it just fine. I hadn't seen a bug report for this yet so I thought I would make you guys aware of this issue. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Put in CD 2.Attempt to Boot CD amd64 Gentoo ver. 2008.0 3.Fails to initialize cdrom drive. Actual Results: It asked me to either put in the command "Shell" or hit enter to retry. Expected Results: Start the installation of Gentoo 2008.0 amd64 Was unable to get a copy of the bug report becuase the system hadnt actualy started yet.. this was on another BoX of mine.
