Description BedOS_Gui 2008-07-05 08:01:33 UTC
I see this warning/error in my syslog about consolekit

Jul 5 09:52:29 localhost console-kit-daemon[4783]: WARNING: Unable to open directory /etc/ConsoleKit/run-session.d: Error opening directory '/etc/ConsoleKit/run-session.d': No such file or directory

It seems be appearing with gdm-2.20.7

My USE flag for gdm and consolekit :

* gnome-base/gdm [R 2.20.7] <target>
    -accessibility -afs branding debug -dmx gnome-keyring ipv6 pam -remote (-selinux) tcpd xinerama elibc: (glibc)

* sys-auth/consolekit [R 0.2.10] <target>
    debug pam

Reproducible: Always

It's a _warning_, not an error. Warnings let you know something _might_ be wrong. Errors tell you something _is_ wrong.

And consolekit is not Gnome's. Please don't forget to read metadata.xml or use the "Ebuild" component to let bug wranglers assign it correctly.

Thanks

this should be fixed in 0.2.10-r1. Please reopen if it's not the case. Thanks for reporting.
