The issue is, that the path for portage modules was changed. It is now /usr/lib64/portage/pym/portage/elog/. Just change the insinto and symlink the old path.

There is still a deprecation warning, if this is fixed, but the plugin works than. I will address the deprecation warning in a 0.3.1 release.
