wxpython-docs-2.6.4.0 is out of sync with wxpython-2.8.7.1. Attaching the ebuilds and patch files for new versions. I have to admit that I don't understand what those patches do, but they apply cleanly, so it's probably OK. :)
Created attachment 159069 [details] ebuild file exactly the same as 2.6.4.0
Created attachment 159071 [details] demo.patch fixed only version number
Created attachment 159073 [details] writeable patch ditto

Changing assignee/CC herds. When this gets bumped, I think wxwidgets herd should be listed before python herd in metadata.xml as well, as is done in dev-python/wxpython/metadata.xml as well, so that bugs get assigned to wxwidgets@ that is more interested in this.
is there any reason we don't combine this with the wxpython ebuild? too big?
SLOT="2.6" should be probably changed to SLOT="2.8" in 2.8 version ebuilds to allow coexisting of 2.6 and 2.8 docs. Also, writable.patch seems to add "ogl.zip" as an additional argument to the helpviewer, but I couldn't find such a file in neither my 2.8 or 2.6 docs. So probably os.path.join(basePath, 'ogl.zip'), line is not necessary anymore. And I think the script adds any extra zip files automatically anyway...
Created attachment 172047 [details] 2.8.9.1 ebuild file just adding what worked for me. should be ok for any 2.8 version by renaming
Created attachment 172049 [details, diff] writable.patch with ogl.zip removed made the naming the same with demo patch, since this doesn't change between versions...
