Description Robert Golding 2008-06-30 16:28:37 UTC
Have installed Gentoo on two new machones within my LAN. On both, which are using the same make.conf, and package.* as the main machine, if you type anything into the address bar of FF3 and then hit enter, nothing happens. Tha same for clicking on the GO button, yet if you click on Home and enter the address into the Google search, it quite happily goes to the address.

I have tried re-emerging FF and xulrunner to see if I could fix.

I don't want to use the Bin version, as ALL packages on my machines have been compiled from source.

Reproducible: Always

Please post your emerge --info in a comment as well.

Interestingly, I'm having the SAME issue in FreeBSD using Linux Firefox 2.0.0.14 (the official Mozilla binary). I haven't done any debugging of the issue however.

I'll get them after I have finished re-installing on both machines, maybe a day or so.
