Comment 1 Rafał Mużyło 2008-06-30 16:10:44 UTC
Oh, it a standard libtool 2 problem,
for long term, upstream could simply rename those vars,
the quickest short term is simply adding AC_SUBST for each of those vars.
Comment 2 Archimedes Trajano 2008-08-06 00:54:11 UTC
Is there an example on how to add those AC_SUBST variables?
Comment 3 Farid 2008-09-12 21:27:41 UTC
I have this same problem.
Would be nice to get a solution...
Comment 4 Jesse Tijnagel 2008-09-19 14:04:26 UTC
Exactly the same overhere, and also don't know how to "AC_SUBST". Can't play Banshee- music no more, for months now, because of this bug :((...

Comment 6 John M. Drescher 2008-10-23 02:12:26 UTC
I just had this on amd64.
Comment 7 Steen Eugen "Miravlix" Poulsen 2008-10-27 07:42:09 UTC
As mentioned it's a libtool-2 problem, so going back to libtool-1 fixes it.
Comment 8 Peter Alfredsen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-12-26 00:39:26 UTC
This is fixed in 2.0 in any case
