can't paste output. new hardened install x86 Reproducible: Always
checked the patch output file. the target doesn't exist.
well without the output there is nothing we can do since it works here. If it's a new install but it has internet access, try installing wgetpaste to get the output out and then attach it here (the file, not the link). We would also need to know which media you are using to install the machine and emerge --info obviously.
adding release just in case. feel free to reopen when the information is available.
Created attachment 159039 [details] output from emerge text file of redirected output from emerge
Created attachment 159041 [details] bad patch output test file emerge error told me to attach

this isn't during install, just a new system. let me know if you need more info
hum it appears that the patch is getting rejected but there really is no reason as there is no arch/profile/whatever specific code in the ebuild before applying the patch. The ebuild is applying the patch in src_compile for no good reason so I'll have to fix that anyway but I still can't see where the problem is coming from. Could you attach the unpatched Makefile.am from the libglade you have ? Created attachment 159179 [details] Makefile.am got this from /var/tmp/portage/gnome-base/libglade-2.6.2/work/libglade-2.6.2/Makefile.am
discovered a problem with the kernel, since blew aware that system and haven't had problems with libglade since then...
well if you happen to be able to reproduce it, feel free to reopen this bug
