libsgutils2.patch

Note: patch to Bug 229653 needs to be applied to fix sg3_utils headers.
Comment 2 Patrizio Bassi 2008-06-27 16:45:01 UTC
same here
Comment 3 Patrizio Bassi 2008-06-28 08:53:03 UTC
works, can we apply to portage?
Comment 4 catkfr 2008-07-13 11:07:18 UTC
I've been hoping to see this in portage for a while so I tried modifying the ebuild to apply the patch. I had never tried this before and I failed. I do get this:
 * Applying libsgutils2.patch [ ok ]
but the build fails with the same error as before

Could you post your ebuild please?
Comment 5 Patrizio Bassi 2008-08-02 13:43:57 UTC
i fixed by adding
sed -i -e 's/lsgutils/lsgutils2/' configure.ac

to the ebuild
Comment 6 Dan Coats 2008-08-02 15:05:31 UTC
I don't get it applied the patch and added sed -i -e 's/lsgutils/lsgutils2/' configure.ac
still cant get it to work.
Comment 7 Patrizio Bassi 2008-08-02 15:17:42 UTC
ops if you apply to configure.ac you need to autoconf it

forget the attached patch, add to ebuild

sed -i -e 's/lsgutils/lsgutils2/' configure
Comment 8 Dan Coats 2008-08-02 15:29:52 UTC
Great thanks not it works
