i have installed a new ftp Gentoo server in switzerland(solothurn) the rsync
server will be too aviable soon. I will report it as soon as I am finnished
installing it.

folder: /mirror/Gentoo
Speed: =<100mbit
rsyncfreq: 4std. 
country: switzerland
city: zurich
company: SolNet (ISP)

Hello --

My apologies for the delay in responding.  We've been short-staffed of late and our bugs have gone untended as a result. 

I've sent instructions on accessing our private distfile mirror to [e-mail].  Please update your scripts to use this mirror as its master and I will add your records to the mirrors page asap.

Benjamin,

Just wanting to confirm that you are still running this mirror.  I noticed it 
hadn't been added to the mirrors page.

Also, the last sync appears to be at "Fri, 29 Aug 2003 06:55:00 +0000" (date -uR).
As of now, that is about 8 hours old.  Is it configured to sync every four hours,
beginning with midnight?

It appears that you are still syncing with ibiblio, so you can ignore my 
comment about the last sync being old.  Ibiblio doesn't sync very often, 
so your server will only be as current as theirs.  Have you not been able 
to update your scripts to point to the private distfiles mirror as described 
in the instructions (sent as noted in comment #2)?

I've added the FTP link to our mirrors page, though it may not be
visible for a day or so.  I've also subscribed <[e-mail]>
to our gentoo-mirrors mailing list, where we announce and discuss 
things related to the gentoo system of mirrors.
