Beside the occasional hang at poweroff, is anything wrong on your system? Is anything broken or misbehaving?

Thanks

Comment 5 Yu Yuwei 2008-06-24 17:37:03 UTC
Sorry for slow responds : )

Forget to mention, my video card is intel 855GME.

And one strange thing is that, some teeth of red gear and blue gear in glxgears was not
complete, which can be seen from the glxgears.png.

Thanks!
Comment 6 Rémi Cardona (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-06-25 07:19:58 UTC
Thanks for the screen shot.

Unfortunately, your bug is beyond my skills. So here's my humble suggestion:

1) read this document : http://intellinuxgraphics.org/how_to_report_bug.html
2) file a bug over at http://bugs.freedesktop.org
3) add "remi@gentoo.org" as CC on the bug

Intel devs should be able to figure this out much better than me. Thanks again for reporting.
Comment 7 Yu Yuwei 2008-06-25 07:32:55 UTC
(In reply to comment #6)
Thanks for you suggestion, I will file a bug on freedesktop : )

Comment 8 Daniele C. 2008-08-23 13:38:36 UTC
I have exactly the same hardware and the same problem

I suffer crashes when shutting down Xorg
Comment 9 Rémi Cardona (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-08-29 15:00:09 UTC
Reassigning back to x11 as I am now on that alias.
Comment 10 Rémi Cardona (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-10-24 00:21:37 UTC
Please don't hesitate to reopen this bug once a bug on freedesktop's bugzilla has been opened.

Thanks
