Update to portage-2.2_rc1 reveals an inacceptable dependency tree. portage-2.2_rc1 wants epydoc-2.1-r2 (downgrade from 3.0.1) and this wants tetex-3.0... Which is blocking, as I have texlive-core installed. Hard to tell if the problem is epydoc or portage in the first place trying to downgrade epydoc. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge --sync 2. emerge auvDN world Actual Results: epydoc suggests downgrade 3.0.1 to 2.1-r2 and this older version wants tetex Expected Results: either dont't downgrade epydoc, or accept texlive-core

um...
Workaround: echo 'dev-python/epydoc -pdf' >> /etc/portage/package.use
Nothing here is a tetex bug, please don't make it block needlessly that bug, thanks. Fix is probably the same as bug #213310
This bug was fixed.
