It's a image viewer, mostly for Xfce4 (but I'm using it in fluxbox, so....)
x86 stable
amd64 stable
ppc64 stable
ppc stable
alpha/ia64/sparc stable
ristretto has a nasty bug where it initially loads well and does generate thumbnails but ultimately segfaults, for instance when I click on where the larger image itself ought to have appeared. Want a new bug for that?

Ouch. > Want a new bug for that? Only if you are willing to open it at bugs.xfce.org for upstream, as they are best to review the backtrace of the segmentation fault / system information etc. If not, please just attach the required data here so I can forward it... pst, the upstream is one person, using "sarts" nick at freenode

Example shell output (the filename or filetype differs from the gdb backtrace's, but it doesn't matter as ristretto always segfaults on click events in the main picture viewer, and never displays images in the main picture viewer anyway). jeroen@elmer /keeps/gentoo/samplefiles/images/raw $ ristretto CRW_3057.CRW Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display ":1.0". 00:42 <+sarts> I told the fedora peeps to cherry-pick a patch from a certain revision. 00:42 <+sarts> but I forgot which one 00:42 <+sarts> it was a patch by kalikiana maybe we should just cherry-pick this patch from fedora? anyway, i'm not in xfce herd anymore. just heads up guys.
should be fixed in 0.0.21 then
(In reply to comment #13) > should be fixed in 0.0.21 then Confirmed. Thanks. I've marked 0.0.20 -hppa and 0.0.21 stable so we have something current stable again.
