The dependencies listed for installing gv for me were Xaw, ghostscript, and gv 
itself, however, during the install I noticed gimp-print being downloaded and 
installed. I wasn't notified of this dependency (is it even a dependency? I 
don't think it's needed but I'm not sure) so I figure thats a bug.

what commands did you use to install gv? what use flags etc. have you set.
