Description merwan kashouty 2003-06-14 08:42:06 UTC
the way qtella is now its useless.. crashing everytime you try t download more
then one item ... looking through the forums at sourceforge i came across two
patches that make the program stable and usable... here is a link... they should
be included in portage if possible or qtella should be masked or removed

ciao

hm.
Comment 2 Caleb Tennis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-07-30 20:21:09 UTC
It's been version bumped to 0.6.2, can you verify if these patches are still needed or not?
Comment 3 merwan kashouty 2003-07-30 23:01:00 UTC
yes... i copied 0.6.1-ebuild to /usr/local/portage/net-p2p/qtella/qtella-0.6.2.ebuild and it works
fine.... then i realized i should have probably just synced...lol

anyway no more need for the patches

thanks

Looks like the new version fixed it.

Sorry, no. I still get the crashes you describe, and according to David Faure, his stability patches have only been merged in 0.6.3. 0.6.4 fixes another crash, so I humbly request version to be bumped

0.6.4 is now in portage, please test
