Description Robert E. Maurer 2003-06-13 05:45:16 UTC
I was attempting to emerge KDE and the very first step is to emerge j2sdk and
there is no digest entry for it. I have been trying for several days. I have
attempted many emerge sync to no avail.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge kde
2.
3.

Actual Results:
No Message Digest entry for j2sdk-1.4.1-01-linux-sparc-gcc3.2.bin

Expected Results:
Unpack and install j2sdk

Sounds like the Java people didn't commit a digest.

Not a mirror problem.

Hang on now, this is not a "Java people" thing... we'll be responsible for unmasking the x86 JDKs and JREs... however, when it comes to Sparc, the Sparc team handles it. Which AFAIK has been Cretin (he originally unmasked 1.4.1).

So I'm going to bouncing this over to sparc@g.o.... cheers

Just commited an updated copy of the digest file containing the md5 for sparc.
