This is related to #2269 and #2272.  The sylpheed ebuild is encoded to require 
gdk-pixbuf only if gnome is USEd.  I presume that gdk-pixbuf would be usable 
for sylpheed without gnome, but that needs more research.

This continues to be an issue, related to Bug #7693

There is no reason to require Gnome support to be USEd in order to import graphical capabilities in Sylpheed, save for the unfortunate requirement of Gnome in the GDK-Pixbuf library.

Updated ebuild

This ebuild is updated to use the new version of Sylpheed (released today,
04 Feb 2003), and includes the updates to include the GDK-Pixbuf library
regardless of the state of the USE="gnome" option. This relies on Bug #7693
bring resolved.
