***** autoconf *****
***** autoconf

configure.in:41: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_GLIB_GNU_GETTEXT
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.

That's all there is ...
Comment 3 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-06-15 22:21:23 UTC
I wonder how this is possible but glib wasn't in the dependencies of the package. Fixed in tree. Thanks for reporting.
Comment 4 Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2009-04-19 09:44:44 UTC
That introduces a circular dependency with USE=doc. We should see about why it needs that m4 instead, and see about providing it if really necessary without glib itself.
Comment 5 Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2009-04-19 10:35:46 UTC
Sorry, it doesn't. A gtk-doc ChangeLog entry was referencing this bug instead of the correct one, and I didn't compare with the package name in summary but believed the bug number. Closing again.
