proftpd sets rundir to /var/run/proftp instead of /var/run/proftpd!
This makes the commands ftpwho and ftpcount require "-p /var/run/proftp" to 
work.

The error is on line 56 in proftpd-1.2.4-r7.ebuild!

NP, but shouldn't it be renamed -r8 so it gets fixed by an emerge update? :)
