Description Christian B. 2008-06-11 21:15:37 UTC
Used ebuild: net-wireless/kdebluetooth-1.0_beta8
Issue: only devices with major function "phone" are discovered by kbluemon. This means PDAs are not recognized. The attached patch will add more devices which are recognized by kbluelock but sparing out really "attached" devices as scanners or other computers.

The patch has been addressed to the author but not yet been applied. Please apply the patch to the next ebuild released for kdebluetooth (maybe as new -r-Release). The patch built fine with the mentioned ebuild.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. apply patch
2. emerge
3. be happy

Actual Results:
w/o patch -> only devices recognized as phones by bluetooth are recognized
w/ patch -> much more devices are recognized
