Problem and fix are still the same for tvbrowser-2.7.1. The new version also seems to work on ppc32.
To get progress here: I can change the code to: local J_ARCH if [[ "${ARCH}" = "x86" ]]; then J_ARCH=i386 else J_ARCH="${ARCH}" fi and then add ~ppc
I'd strongly prefer keywords. Its the portage way and I can't see a reason, why not to use them here.
(In reply to comment #3) > I'd strongly prefer keywords. Its the portage way and I can't see a reason, why > not to use them here. > What do you want to tell me? All ebuilds use keywords (including this one). The case statement is just to get the arch name, as java uses it (as arch name of x86 is i386 for java). But it seems this is no longer needed in newer tvbrowser versions.

I thought it was intended to fail, if it is no x86-arch. But I agree, I think this case-statement is superfluous.
Ebuild removed.
