This is in Portage since December 2003 :-/ Took the occasion to give it a damn sound dusting ;-)
Oh! I forgoted this bug report completely. (They was my first ebuild on my first week using Gentoo...) :-D But nobody saw this bug report and the wmwave ebuild which is into portage tree was there without filing a bug report. In fact this is a very simple and trivial ebuild, I don't care about it in any way (I'm not using wmaker anymore) but i think is important to say that both ebuilds (this bug report and the ebuild which is into portage tree) have bugs: * Doesn't handle errors on the {dobin,doman,dodoc,emake} commands inside src_install() and src_compile() (blublibla || die "blublibla failed") * Function src_unpack() it's no needed and inside it's hardcoded. (Maybe just a S=${WORKDIR}/${PN}) * SRC_URI its hardcoded - SRC_URI="http://www.schuermann.org/~dockapps/dist/wmwave-0-4.tgz" + SRC_URI="http://www.schuermann.org/~dockapps/dist/${PN}-${PV/./-}.tgz" * This ebuild was submitted on June, the ebuild apears on December. Before closing this bug I committed a fixed version of this ebuild. It no longer has the issues you describe here. It will be a few hours before it progatates to all the rsync mirrors, though... Anyway, thanks for the feedback, it is always appreciated :-)
