shouldn't lapack be a dependency of rpy?

Hi Renato,

lapack does not need to be a rpy dependency, but of R, and should autodetect if you have it built or not. Do you have USE=lapack set for R?
Could you provide your emerge --info and if you have USE=lapack, also
eselect lapack list.

Thanks.

rpy emerge full log

I don't have USE=lapack set for R.

If I do lapack is installed as dep and then rpy compiles without problems.

It looks the problem was a bad detection of the R lapack module.
It should be fixed in cvs. Wait till it hits the mirror and emerge again.
Re-open if the problems persists. Thanks.
