Description Ben Leggett 2008-06-02 19:25:28 UTC
The exult ebuild currently only installs the digital musicpacks into /usr/share/games/exult.

For sound effect support, the exult readme states that the files
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/exult/jmsfx.zip

and
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/exult/jmsfxsi.zip

must also be installed into /usr/share/games/exult

Reproducible: Always

I'd take a patch for this but it's not a critical fix since users can install the sounds themselves and point the config file at them.

exlut ebuild diff for flx files

installs .flx files as it is specified by readme
Comment 3 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-08-15 04:41:18 UTC
ok, it's in portage.

I didn't rev bump it so people who already have exult installed but either took care of the sfx install themselves or don't care won't be forced to install it again.

If you want the digital sfx, emerge exult again to get them installed in the package.

Thanks for the bug report and patch.
