I am using ~amd64 up to date as of this morning. I hit a failure with gchemutils on the autoconf step. The latest installed autoconf is sys-devel/autoconf-2.62. ***** autoconf ***** ***** autoconf configure.ac:266: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_GCONF_SOURCE_2 If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow. See the Autoconf documentation.
Ok, I'm not seeing any problem on a stable x86 gnome-light box with autoconf-2.61-r1. I'll check on the ~x86 box later when I've got it clean enough to break...
I'm not seeing it either. ebuild gets through src_unpack() with no trouble. Emerging the package now fails at openbabel though...(I'll open another bug if you want... personally I'm sick of 'em :) config.status: creating src/config.h config.status: executing depfiles commands config.status: executing libtool commands config.status: executing include/openbabel/babelconfig.h commands Makefile:162: *** missing separator. May be I am hitting a local issue? I thought I had committed the fix for the OpenBabel issue - it is committed upstream. My commit must not have gone through for some reason. I will fix it. I will also look into why this is only hitting me - I am just running a fairly vanilla x86_64 on ~amd64.
Ok, having removed gnome, switched to XFCE4, and trying to re-install gchemutils, I'm hitting the same issue Marcus did. Is the AM_GCONF_SOURCE_2 token provided by gconf by any chance?
Created attachment 163587 [details, diff] gchemutils.ebuild.patch Having spoke to Jean Brefort it seems that this is related to building gchemutils on a non-gnome system. I have done up a revised ebuild which works correctly on non-gnome systems. The patch for the ebuild is attached.
Fixed in CVS, thanks!
