Description Tiago Marques 2008-05-30 17:46:34 UTC
When trying to paint the outer borders of a table black, they will get painted, sometimes not, but when they do, others also get painted, when they shouldn't.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.draw a table
2.try to paint just the bottem borders of a cell with a 2pt line
3.

Actual Results:
The side borders also get painted

Expected Results:
Only the bottom borders should be.

Changed this to major, since I can't believe how something as simple as this doesn't work.

I know this problem is upstream and not gentoo related, but gentoo has been relaxing the requirements for stabilization of packages too much. I wouldn't stumble on something like this two years ago.

best regards

Am I right to assume that we speak about Openoffice!? Please name the exact version of the software you're referring to, paste `emerge --info` output and reopen.

Forgot about that, yes openoffice 2.4, compiled from sources.

I assume you meant app-office/openoffice-2.4.0 since you are complaining about openoffice being marked stable. If not, I wonder what you mean by "compiled from sources" - app-office/openoffice usually means you compile your own during emerge.

Could you post the output of emerge -vp app-office/openoffice too, please? The ebuild supports various toolkits, I think, and when it comes to painting errors, the GUI toolkit is quite relevant.
Comment 6 Tiago Marques 2008-06-01 23:23:41 UTC
yes, it was installed/compiled with emerge, instead of the app-office/openoffice-bin

Comment 7 Andreas Proschofsky (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-10-16 20:08:48 UTC
Do you still get that problem with more recent releases?
Comment 8 Tiago Marques 2008-10-17 12:05:55 UTC
2.4.1 still doesn't work right, the latest stable version in Gentoo.
Best regards
Comment 9 Tiago Marques 2008-10-27 17:06:37 UTC
Still exists in OO 3.0
Comment 10 Andreas Proschofsky (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-11-25 13:01:44 UTC
If you still get this, could you please file a bug at

https://bugzilla.novell.com

which is the current upstream for ooo-build.
Comment 11 Tiago Marques 2009-11-25 13:47:03 UTC
At least 3.0 still has this. I will check in 3.1 and report upstream.

Best regards
