I get the following error when trying to emerge gedit-2.0.5.
libgnomeprintui-2.2.1.2 is installed.

Package libgnomeprintui-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps
you should add the directory containing 'libgnomeprintui-2.0.pc' to the
PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge gnome
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
Package libgnomeprintui-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps
you should add the directory containing 'libgnomeprintui-2.0.pc' to the
PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable

Expected Results:  
emerged gedit so that gnome could continue building.

ok, I unmasked the newer gedit in order to avoid that issue, please sync and try again.
