When trying to burn a composition to a DVD with xfburn, it fails due to gtk assertion failuers (see below). Note that this error does not occur when working with CDs of any size, only with DVDs (of all sizes). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Choose 'New Composition' in the toolbar 2. Add one or more files to the composition 3. Choose '4.7GB DVD' or '8.5GB DVD' in the lower right dropdown menu 4. Click 'Burn Composition' (the button in the lower right corner) Actual Results: In the gui, nothing happens, but the following output is printed on stderr or -out: (xfburn:3911): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_type_instance_get_private: assertion `instance != NULL && instance->g_class != NULL' failed (xfburn:3911): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_window_set_transient_for: assertion `GTK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed (xfburn:3911): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_dialog_run: assertion `GTK_IS_DIALOG (dialog)' failed (xfburn:3911): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_destroy: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed Expected Results: Open the menu allowing me to save a DVD image or actually burn it. Let me point out once more, that working with CDs or CD images works just fine! I'm using xfce-extra/xfburn-0.3.0_pre20080321.
Please try with newer libisofs, libburn, xfburn (yep, final 0.3.0 is out) that have been in tree for while..
(In reply to comment #1) > Please try with newer libisofs, libburn, xfburn (yep, final 0.3.0 is out) that > have been in tree for while.. > The bug seems to be gone with libisofs-0.6.6, libburn-0.4.8_p0 and xfburn-0.3.0.
