Federico Ferri wants to join us for helping with tcltk maintainance. He will be doing some work on media apps too, since he has experience in the field (like in PureData). He has been contributing to Gentoo in various ways for some time, including a lot of work in an external overlay (pd-overlay) involving eclasses and lots of shiny stuff. He's also a contributor on pd-cvs, which I hope will be useful when it comes to bring puredata back to Gentoo. We already had a look to the ebuild-quiz and I think he's ready to start the recruitment.
end quiz sent to recruiters@g.o :-)
yay we suck at catching our backlog. Mind as well increase my work load. As you have already sent the quizzes please contact me via mail or IRC to schedule the first review session.
Ebuild quiz reviewed. Please submit a fixed a revised version of it to recruiters@gentoo.org. After your mentor has approved your eom quiz, send it to recruiters@gentoo.org and contact me to schedule an another review session.
I've just sent the eom quiz, and the reviewed ebuild quiz
(In reply to comment #4) > I've just sent the eom quiz, and the reviewed ebuild quiz > 00:36 < mescalinum> I'm not sure if I should complete my process right now, or I should wait for something 00:37 < mescalinum> anyway, on Sept. 4th I'll leave for holydays and I'll be back on Sept. 11th 00:38 <@Betelgeuse> mescalinum: Well from looking at the bug you are supposed to schedule an another session with me. Having commit access does you no good if you aren't around so we can wait until you are back from holiday.
Federico: What's the status here? I think we were quite close to finishing the process so please schedule a time with me to finish the process and have the quizzes and the ebuild cleanup polished before that.
Ok reviews are done. What we did: - LDAP - gentoo-core - bugzilla - cvs/svn groups on cvs.gentoo.org - IRC-cloak - announcement - sent you your LDAP/mail password via encrypted mail What you need to do: - subscribe to mailing lists with @gentoo.org address - request forum status bump in #gentoo-forums or by mail to forum-mods@gentoo.org (if you have a forums count) - send yourself mail to create .maildir - add yourself to mail aliases ( like java@gentoo.org ) see /var/mail/alias on dev.gentoo.org - ask team leads to add yourself to herds.xml for the herds you want to join or do it yourself if you have the permission to do so - set lat and lon attributes in LDAP if you want others to know where exactly you are located - set gentooIM if you want people to be able to contact you via other means than email For the mentor: - You are also responsible for the commits of your recruit during the first month so you should watch the commits of your recruit via gentoo-commits mailing list.
all done :-)

Federico replied telling us to go ahead with the retirement. As usual, I'll wait 2 weeks before assigning the bug to infra.
Let's proceed with the retirement then. Federico, thank you for all your hard work and if you ever find the time to get back, just reopen this bug.
Usual infra-retire done. users need to be checked against *.dev.g.o machines still. forums, planet: your bug.
No forums account as far as I can tell.
No blog account No planet/universe configs
metadata.xml clean up and bugs reassignment done

Retirement processing: * gentoo-dev access removed and gentoo cloak removed * processed metadata.xml entries * no herd membership * no project pages entries * all bugs reassigned * no group membership on cvs.gentoo.org * no active account on devboxes. Thanks to armin76
