Description Narada Sage 2003-06-07 08:24:31 UTC
Hello

mozilla-firebird-bin creates /opt/mozilla-firebird and mozilla-firebird creates
/opt/MozillaFirebird.

Is this deliberate? Ideally, all three firebird packages including cvs would
create the same case and syntax of directory.

On a separate note altogether any luck with getting the firebird-bin maintainer
to produce a gcc 3 build?

Many thanks

The previous maintainer of phoenix-bin elected to place it under /opt instead of /usr/lib, using a directory name dissimilar to the phoenix-cvs ebuild; the reasoning behind this is described in bug 20185.

I don't see a problem with reverting the directory name to MozillaFirebird. Will do in the next revision.

Done.

Oh yes, regarding the GCC 3 build, I'm still working on him about that.
