Expected Results:
lostirc is merged successfully.

I do not believe this to be related to bug #215302 as the dependency on =dev-libs/libsigc++-2.0* is met on my system.

CCing gnome-mm as this could possibly be related to the one of the mm packages not having the appropriate use flags. Note: gtkmm was built with "accessibility" in this case.

And your emerge --info?

Does rebuilding with or without that useflag change anything?

Negative. Even if it did though, it would be just a fix and not an actual solution. There are some packages that depend on the accessibility use flag in gtkmm (such as vmware-workstation/player)

Diego, any idea how to fix that? I'm not able to fix it :/
Comment 8 Ralph Sennhauser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-01 09:38:50 UTC
# emerge lostirc
Calculating dependencies... done!

emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "=dev-libs/libsigc++-2.0*".
(dependency required by "net-irc/lostirc-0.4.6-r1" [ebuild])
(dependency required by "lostirc" [argument])

Then changing the ebuild to any available libsigc++ reuslts in the same aclocal output as attached to this bug.

Why isn't net-irc/lostirc-0.4.6-r1 keyworded if the bug can't be found and when at least editing the ebuild is required for everyone to install it?

Maybe an additional emerge --info may help to find or reproduce the bug.

# emerge --info
