CCing gnome-mm as this could possibly be related to the one of the mm packages not having the appropriate use flags. Note: gtkmm was built with "accessibility" in this case.
And your emerge --info?

Note: gtkmm was built with > > "accessibility" in this case. > > Does rebuilding with or without that useflag change anything? > Negative. Even if it did though, it would be just a fix and not an actual solution. There are some packages that depend on the accessibility use flag in gtkmm (such as vmware-workstation/player)
Diego, any idea how to fix that? I'm not able to fix it :/
# emerge lostirc Calculating dependencies... done! emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "=dev-libs/libsigc++-2.0*". (dependency required by "net-irc/lostirc-0.4.6-r1" [ebuild]) (dependency required by "lostirc" [argument]) Then changing the ebuild to any available libsigc++ reuslts in the same aclocal output as attached to this bug. Why isn't net-irc/lostirc-0.4.6-r1 keyworded if the bug can't be found and when at least editing the ebuild is required for everyone to install it? Maybe an additional emerge --info may help to find or reproduce the bug. # emerge --info Portage 2.1.6.7 (default/linux/amd64/2008.0/desktop, gcc-4.1.2, glibc-2.8_p20080602-r1, 2.6.27-gentoo-r8 x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: Linux-2.6.27-gentoo-r8-x86_64-AMD_Athlon-tm-_64_Processor_3700+-with-glibc2.2.5 Timestamp of tree: Fri, 27 Feb 2009 14:15:03 +0000 app-shells/bash: 3.2_p39 dev-java/java-config: 1.3.7-r1, 2.1.6-r1 dev-lang/python: 2.5.2-r7 dev-util/cmake: 2.4.8 sys-apps/baselayout: 1.12.11.1 sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.18.1-r2 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.63 sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.6-r2, 1.10.2 sys-devel/binutils: 2.18-r3 sys-devel/gcc-config: 1.4.0-r4 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.26 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.27-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64" CBUILD="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-O2 -pipe -march=k8 -msse3" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /opt/openjms/config /usr/kde/3.5/env /usr/kde/3.5/share/config /usr/kde/3.5/shutdown /usr/share/config /var/lib/hsqldb" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/ca-certificates.conf /etc/env.d /etc/env.d/java/ /etc/fonts/fonts.conf /etc/gconf /etc/revdep-rebuild /etc/terminfo /etc/udev/rules.d" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -pipe -march=k8 -msse3" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="distlocks fixpackages parallel-fetch protect-owned sandbox sfperms strict unmerge-orphans userfetch userpriv usersandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://distfiles.gentoo.org http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/gentoo" LANG="C" LDFLAGS="-Wl,-O1" LINGUAS="en de fr" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_RSYNC_OPTS="--recursive --links --safe-links --perms --times --compress --force --whole-file --delete --stats --timeout=180 --exclude=/distfiles --exclude=/local --exclude=/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/portage/local/layman/enlightenment /usr/portage/local/layman/perl-experimental /usr/portage/local/layman/java-overlay /usr/portage/local/sera" SYNC="rsync://rsync.europe.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="3dnow 3dnowext X a52 acl acpi alsa amd64 ao apache2 bash-completion berkdb bluetooth bonobo branding bzip2 cairo caps cdparanoia cdr clamav cli cracklib crypt cups curl dbus dga dri dts dvb dvd dvdr dvdread eds emboss encode esd fam ffmpeg firefox flac fortran ftp gdbm gif glut gnome gpm gstreamer gtk hal howl iconv imap imlib ipv6 isdnlog java jpeg jpeg2k kde ldap libedit libnotify lirc lm_sensors mad midi mikmod mime mmap mmx mmxext motif mp3 mpeg mpi mplayer mudflap multilib musepack mysql ncurses nls nocd nptl nptlonly ogg openal opengl openmp oss pam pcre pdf perl png portaudio posix ppds pppd prelude python qt3 qt3support qt4 quicktime readline reflection sdl session spell spl sqlite sse sse2 ssl ssse3 startup-notification svg sysfs syslog tcpd theora tiff tk truetype type1 unicode usb v4l2 vim-pager vim-syntax vorbis wxwindows x264 xml xorg xulrunner xv zlib" ALSA_CARDS="intel8x0" ALSA_PCM_PLUGINS="adpcm alaw asym copy dmix dshare dsnoop empty extplug file hooks iec958 ioplug ladspa lfloat linear meter mmap_emul mulaw multi null plug rate route share shm softvol" APACHE2_MODULES="actions alias auth_basic authn_alias authn_anon authn_dbm authn_default authn_file authz_dbm authz_default authz_groupfile authz_host authz_owner authz_user autoindex cache dav dav_fs dav_lock deflate dir disk_cache env expires ext_filter file_cache filter headers include info log_config logio mem_cache mime mime_magic negotiation rewrite setenvif speling status unique_id userdir usertrack vhost_alias" ELIBC="glibc" INPUT_DEVICES="evdev" KERNEL="linux" LINGUAS="en de fr" LIRC_DEVICES="devinput" USERLAND="GNU" VIDEO_CARDS="radeonhd" Unset: CPPFLAGS, CTARGET, EMERGE_DEFAULT_OPTS, FFLAGS, INSTALL_MASK, LC_ALL, PORTAGE_COMPRESS, PORTAGE_COMPRESS_FLAGS, PORTAGE_RSYNC_EXTRA_OPTS
