Description Clemente Aguiar 2008-05-22 12:48:23 UTC
Is it possible to add USE flags to the ebuild for WCCP and WCCPv2 features?

WCCP is one of the most used features when using squid as a transparent, fault tolerant, proxy.

I propose the following relationship:

USE Flag -> Squid Configure Option
----------------------------------
wccp     -> --enable-wccp
wccpv2   -> --enable-wccpv2

Reproducible: Always

Here is an updated ebuild with that USE flag functionality enabled. I was able to build on x86, testing squid functionality, Clemente can you test it also?

Attaching ebuild.

Thank you for your quick response.

At the moment I am using version 2.6.20, if you can supply an ebuild for that version I can quickly test it, otherwise we will have to wait until next week so that I can upgrade and test the ebuild you suplied.

wccp and wccp-v2 configure options are enabled by default. Since they don't add any new dependencies and don't bother anyone who don't wanna use them, it would be pointless to create such USE flags.

Closed as INVALID.
